The Luxors Roaming Review

The Luxor Casino on Vegas's famous strip is the subject for todays Roaming Review. Although I have seen pictures of the Luxor, actually standing in front of this Black glass pyramid is a bit breath taking. I would like to give the hotel a 9 for the Roaming Review just because it really is cool.

Check in at the Luxor was simple. My office decided to use my title for the reservation as David Ruhon's Roaming Review. Which I don't mind them doing, because I always get an upgrade on my room and they usually give me some nice comps as a way to kiss up to me hoping to sway my Roaming Review. And as I suspected they upgraded me to a Pyramid Spa suite. This room was really nice, it had a Jacuzzi in the room, extra large shower and of course wireless internet access. The rooms decor was Egyptian and very well done. I will be giving my suite in the Luxor an 8 for my Roaming Review it was very nice but not over the top.

I decided to take a nap before going to the casino and by the time I woke up it was after 9 pm and I still needed to get started on my roaming review so I decided to have dinner first. Of course I have comps for the hotels restaurants so I choose the Luxor steak house. The room is decorated in wood paneling and really takes you out of the Egyptian feel of the hotel but the food was excellent. I went with the 24 oz porterhouse steak I was hoping for something bigger but this is the biggest they have. It was a great piece of meat and I was nice and full when I was finished. I will give the Luxor Steak house an 8 for the Roaming Review. The food and quality was top notch I just wished they had a better selection of meats.

Well now it is time for the Casino Section of the Roaming Review. I was deciding what I wanted to play tonight while sitting at the dollar slots. I wound up winning 200 dollars. So I decided to keep playing and about 10 minutes latter I won another 500 dollars. This was going to be a good night. So I am now in a great mood with an extra 700 in my pocket, and I started making the same mistake I always seem to make. I got really drunk.

From here the rest of the night was a little hazy. I remember getting very sick and if I remember correctly it was on the roulette table. I am going to give the Casino and its staff a 10 for the Roaming Review because they were very nice to me they helped me to my room and even helped me get into bed and I am pretty sure I gave the 2 guys who helped me like 100 dollars each, and I would like to say thank you to them in this Roaming Review.

In the morning at checkout there were a few snickers from some of the staff they must have herd what happened. I expected to see some extra charges on my bill for the cleanup, but there was none.

So Bravo to the Staff of the Luxor Hotel and Casino and I give your Hotel a 9 for my Roaming Review but the staff gets a 10.
