Monty Carlo's Roaming Review

In this Part of my 3 part Roaming Review on Monte Carlo Monaco I will be checking out the city.

Monte Carlo was formerly known as Spelugues and was the poorest state in all of Europe. This was all changed when Francois Blanc, a Frenchman who ran a very successful casino in Germany heard that the concession was available and applied for the 50 year Casinos License. It was granted to him and thanks to him Monte Carlo is what it is today. Besides setting up the 1st Casino in Monte Carlo, he also persuaded the French authorities to build a highway alongside the sea and extend the railroads to make it easier for tourists to visit. After his death it became law that no citizens of Monaco are allowed to play in the casinos, and this law still stands today. I have to give the vision of Francoise Blank a big 10 in this Roaming Review for his Vision that turned a Poor port city into one of the richest in the world.

For dinner on my first night I decided on local cuisine for my roaming Review so I went to the Le Perigordin which is a French Bistro. I hade duck in some type of sauce it was amazing and a decent price also. The waiter had a bit of a hard time with English but we managed to get our food and had good service and this place will get an 8 for my Roaming Review.

Now for my Roaming Review of the nightlife in Monte Carlo, I have herd much about the nightlife in Monte Carlo and now I want to see it for myself. After some investigating I decided to go to Jimmy'z for my Roaming Review. I have been told that if you want to party with the rich and famous in Monaco this is the place to be. I must say there was definitely allot of money in that club. I now know exactly what they mean by Euro trash. The girls were hot, but if you did not have the money to flaunt you will feel extremely out of place here. I am going to give Jimmy'z a 5 for the Roaming Review because I found the crowd to be extremely annoying.

Make sure to check out tomorrows Roaming Review where I will review 1 more of Monty Carlo's Casinos.
