A Roaming Review of the MGM Grand.
Check in at the MGM grand was a bit troublesome they insisted that my reservation was for next month. After I assured them it was not and showed them my confirmation email, they found me a room in the Grand Tower. The reservations staff at the MGM gets a 7 in my Roaming Review. These rooms are larger then the average Las Vegas Rooms. The room was decorated to offer the finest in comfort and elegance. The room had a large black and white marble bathroom, and each room has wireless internet. For the size and comforts they offer in the rooms I will give the room at the MGM Grand an 8 in the Roaming Review.
While I was doing my Roaming Review for today there was a baseball game I wanted to see so I decided the best way to view it was from the sportsbook area. The Sportsbook area is filled with TV's on the wall and small personal TV's at each seat. I watched my game and bet a few dollars on some horse races. I managed to win about $250 while watching the game, but I lost it playing Blackjack after the game was over. I will give the Casino in the MGM Grand a 9 in today's Roaming Review.
I decided to go listen to some music and have a drink at Studio 54, featuring state-of-the-art sound, video and lighting, live dancers, wall walkers and chart-topping dance music. I am not much into dance clubs but I did have a good time and let's just say I found some company for the night. I am giving Studio 54 at the MGM a 10 in this Roaming Review.
To finish off this Roaming Review I decided to get some late night food. I was hungry and the Studio Cafe in the MGM is open 24 hours a day. The food was excellent and at a good price and gets a 9 for the Roaming Review. It was 1 am and crowded so the service was a little slow.
