Roaming review for the Diamond Mountain Casino
The Diamond Mountain Casino is in Susanville, California On the Susanville Indian Rancheria and is the home of the Paiute, Maidu, Pit River, and Washoe Indians.
The casino has the feel of a hunting lodge with the amenities of a modern casino. For today%u2019s Roaming Review I decided to play some 3 card poker. I was getting annoyed because there was this very drunk guy next to me that kept getting loud and I think he was trying to steal chips from me. Well after about 30 minutes of this security removed him from the casino and they get a 10 in my Roaming Review because they were polite but firm.
I was not doing to bad I was about even and considering at this point I was playing for an hour is not bad. The waitresses kept bringing drinks to the table and before I know it I was drunk. This is really when it all stared falling apart. I have said it in several of my Roaming Review articles do not get drunk when gambling, get drunk after. Oh well too late now.
I decided I had had enough to play and was going to start looking for food when I had an accident and tripped over my own feet and twisted my ankle. I was supposed to be going to South Dakota for the next leg of my Roaming Review but now I will be lad up here for a few days so my roaming review of historic Deadwood will have to wait.
With the exception that I twisted my ankle I have to give the Diamond Mountain Casino a 7 for this Roaming review. They have no hotel, they have no spa and they do not even have a restaurant, but the booze is not watered down.
