Today I Visited the Mirage Casino and Hotel on the Famous Vegas strip.

The Mirage in Las Vegas

For this installment of the Roaming review I went to the Mirage casino in Las Vegas. The Mirage is a 3000 room Casino and Hotel. The check in area has a 20,000 gallon salt water coral reef behind it. The reef is filled with exotic fish and is very nice to look at while waiting in line. I would give the check in process a 7 for the Roaming Review because of the long line at check in.

The room I was in was very nice it was not a suite, but it is very nice and comfortable and gave me a place to crash after I write the Roaming Review. The bathroom was very nice but the shower was a little small. Every room has internet access and on the TV they have a channel dedicated to all there is to do at the Mirage. It was the view I loved most from the Mirage my room had a great view of the strip and all of the other casinos. I will give the room an 8 for the Roaming Review.

Before going to the Casino I decided to go see some of the Attractions the Mirage has to offer and do a Roaming Review for people with kids.. The list of things the Mirage Casino has to offer is unreal. Besides the Fish in the Lobby the Mirage also offers a live Volcano that will erupt for you every night on the hour from 7 pm to midnight. Thy also have Dolphins, white tigers and my favorite was the rain forest. The birds, the trees and the sounds of the rain were very relaxing and I give the attractions in the Mirage Casino and Hotel a 10 in the Roaming Review.

Now it was time to go to the Casino and do my Roaming Review. Normally I pick a game and play it for a while checking things out for the Roaming review. Today I decided to play speed rounds around the casino. I stayed at a game for 15 minutes and unless I am winning I leave and go to another. If I am winning I will stay for another 15 minutes then leave regardless. I stayed 30 min at blackjack and roulette and 15 for craps, baccarat and at the video poker. The size of this Casino is like nothing I have ever seen before. I am going to give the Mirage casino a 9 for my Roaming review, the dealers were friendly and there were so many tables it was easy to get a seat.

I decided to get some dinner and I went to Cravings buffet. Cravings was by far the largest buffet I have ever been to they had everything you could desire to eat, they had crab legs, shrimp, prim rib, Chinese and lots of other foods. I left the Buffet and I needed to go to my room and lay down. the Buffet gets a 10 from me for the roaming review.

I was very happy with my stay at the mirage. I am not leaving a rich man, I still have to continue to work, but still a good time and I would recommend the Mirage to anyone with kids or just looking to have a good time. I will give the Mirage Casino and Hotel in Vegas a 9 for my Roaming Review.
