The Black Oak Casino is an Indian Casino owned by the Tuolumne band of the Me-Wuk Indians.

David Ruhon's Roaming Review of the Black Oak Casino.

I was sort of disappointed to find out the Black oak Casino had no hotel because Tuolumne County is home to some of the most beautiful mountain retreats in all of California. And Black Oak Casino is located just a few miles from some of the Gold Country's most famous landmarks and tourist attractions.

Before starting my Roaming Review of the casino, I decided to check out the amenities they offer for the kids. They offer a 24 lane bowling alley and they also offer a large arcade for the kids to play in whist you do some gaming of your own, but a big minus to the arcade in their roaming review because there is no one to watch the kids. If your kids are under 12 you have to stay with them. So for the kids areas I give the Black Oak Casino a 4 in today's Roaming Review.

Now to get to the Casino Part of today's Roaming Review. I decided Blackjack was going to be today's game to take my money, but on my way to the Blackjack table I had to stop, because they had the Casino Version of War. I used to love this game. So I decided I had to sit and play...man I never lost that bad when I was a kid, and it never cost me 50 bucks before. Oh well at least I had fun and it will help there casino section of my roaming review now to play some blackjack.

I was holding my own at the blackjack table I was up maybe 100 dollars when 2 of the people I had been playing with left and 2 new players sat down. It was apparent from the beginning that they did not know how to play, and it threw my game off and before I knew it I was down 50 dollars. So I left that table and went to the slots just to kill some time before I do the food section of the Roaming review.

Well playing the slots did help me build up my appetite and my bank roll because from a quarter Slot Machine I managed to win $175. So all in all I enjoyed my time in the Black Oak Casino and will give this place an 8 for the Casino Section of the Roaming Review.

I was finally hungry enough to pull my self away from the Casino floor and I decided to go to the Seven Sisters restaurant in the Casino for the Roaming Review dinning section. It was very nice, I had the surf and turf and was pleased with my meal and the service. For the Roaming review I give the food and service a 9

The Black Oak Casino was a great place but could be better if they would hire someone to watch the kids so both parents can go and enjoy them selves.
