For today's roaming review I visited the Barona Valley Ranch and Resort just outside of San Diego.

Baroan Valley's Roaming Review

The Barona valley Ranch is an Indian Casino in the hills outside of San Diego. The view from the hotel is nothing short of spectacular. Just on the view alone I could give the hotel a 9 in my Roaming Review.

When I entered the hotel I noticed it has a very nice but a bit plain decor. Checking in was as simple as can be. My reservations were under my company name and not mine. This means they have been told I am doing a Roaming review and it is supposed to be kept secrete. Whenever a hotel finds out I do a Roaming Review they go out of their way to kiss my butt and that makes my job harder.

Well, as I suspected I was upgraded to a luxury suite. It was a really nice room with a separate master bedroom. There was a beautiful view from my balcony and I had to sit there watching it whilst I had a nice drink. So I have no choice but to give the room a 9 for this Roaming Review.

The Barona valley Ranch has a very nice golf course and amazingly enough I was able to make a reservation for anytime I wanted. I was giving clubs to use because I do not own my own, but I had a really good time even though I played badly played badly. I will give the golf course a 9 in the Roaming Review, this is definitely the best golf course I have ever seen at a casino.

Now on to the Casino section of the Casino Roaming Review. California law dos not allow for craps or regular roulette played with a wheel. So the Barona Valley Casino came up with a 37 card deck of cards each represents a number on a roulette table and is marked with a color and section of the table. The dealer deal several cards on the table then will randomly pick one card and that card is the winner. This version of roulette in legal by California law and was lots of fun to play. I was up at one point but walked away from the table down 20 dollars. The Barona Valley Casino has earned there 8 for today's Roaming Review.

Normally I would spend more time playing in the casino for the roaming review but spent some serious gaming time on the golf course.

For the dinning section of this roaming review I decided to go to the Ranch House Buffet, and of course my meal was free from the Hotel. If I had known ahead of time I would have eaten at the steak house. Oh well, the food at the buffet was great I was seriously surprised. Usually the food at a buffet is not good but this food was top notch. The buffet has earned an 8 in this Roaming Review.
