Review of the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino

Today's Casino Roaming Review will be on the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. So far all the Casinos I have reviewed have been on Casinos with Hotels but this Casino has no hotel but they do have nearby motels and inns.

So there was no check in for this Casino and for me that is a big negative for the Casino. This is a big minus in my roaming review, when I am done gambling I do not want to have to drive home even if it is only a 10 minute drive.

After getting a look at the Casino I was forgetting about the lack of a Hotel. This casino is great. One of the first things I noticed is the way the room is decorated. Most casinos use the most annoying colors for the floors and walls. This is a Casino trick to get you to look at the machines more so you will be more tempted to play.

I was in the mood for some poker today and what luck this Casino has a 12 table poker room, but it was all full so I decided today's roaming review would be on video poker

Video Poker is fun and somewhat less challenging then regular poker, but in my opinion it takes the fun out of sitting at a table with others and losing to them or beating them. I played for about 2 hrs and I was up about 50 dollars.

I also tried my luck at the Baccarat and blackjack table. I did ok after about 3 hrs I was only down 5 dollars.

I decided I would add an entertainment section into today%u2019s Roaming Review so I checked what was going on in the Casino on a Wednesday night there was nothing no Comedy show, no band in the lounge, nothing. So I decided to have a quick drink and then go on to do the last part of Today's Roaming Review.

The last thing I had to check for today's Roaming Review was the Casino bathrooms. And all I can really say is that they were neat and clean.

I Enjoyed the Casino here at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino but I did not like the fact that they had no Hotel and nothing to do if you are not in the mood to gamble.

As for the food part of today's roaming review I had a burger at their Pair-A-Dice Bar & Lounge it was ok at best.

All in all I say this place gets a Roaming Review rank of 5
