Welcome Back to the Wild West
When you first enter the Wild Wild West Casino I recommend doing it from the boardwalk side of the building. When you enter the Wild Wild West casino on that side you will be treated to a scene out of the old mining days. There is a large wall with a waterfall and a river with 49'ers panning for gold and telling stories.
Just past there is the Casino floor filled with slot machines and gaming tables. The western theme continues into almost every aspect of this casino. The cashiers windows are done up to look like old western bank windows, but don't get any silly ideas. This may look like the Wild Wild West but they have modern security.
Even though yesterday's unlucky streak seems to have carried over till today, I enjoyed playing at the Wild Wild West. I was able to find a 10 dollar minimum on the Roulette wheel. I like that they still have nickel slots, even though I don't play them and I meet a very cool Blackjack dealer named Steve. If you see him tell him Dave said Hi he will know what it means.
The Wild Wild West theme continues into the bathrooms, which are made to look like mine shafts. I have to say these were the cleanest mine shafts I have ever seen, not that I have seen many actually mine shafts except in movies and on TV.
The food was a big surprise. I ate at the Virginia City Buffet which you must be 21 to get to because it is on the Casino Floor. I do not think it was a good idea that it was on the floor because a buffet is a great place for people with kids to go because it has a wide selection of stuff for the kids. So if you are going with your children you will have to pass or leave them in the room for this restaurant. But if you do not have kids and you have a large appetite this may be what you are looking for. They have Italian, American and Chinese food on the buffet. Besides the buffet the Wild Wild West offers several other restaurants and snack bars for a quick little something.
The room was very nice and clean and did have an old school feel to it, and had internet access and an iron and ironing board just incase your nice things got messed up on the way here. All and all I had a good time and found the Wild Wild West Casino in Atlantic City NJ to be a nice place to do some Gambling and have a nice time by the Ocean.
