The Showboat-The Mardi Grass casino Review
WoW is one of the first things about this place I must say in this casino review. I have been to some of the Louisiana river boat casinos and the Showboat does a good job or recreating that Mardi Grass feeling. Check in was a breeze and someone actually came to get my bags. Not many casinos do that anymore.
The room was nice and spacious it was in the new hotel tower they added about 3 years ago. A very comfortable bed and every room has high speed internet and in room movies.
Now onto some gambling part of this casino review, I really don't know why but today I woke up in the mood for some poker. So at fist I warmed up with some 3 card poker and eventually made my way to the Texas Holdem Table. I was doing great I was really in the zone at one point every bet I made paid off. I just could not do wrong. Then there was a dealer change, and everything went wrong. So I had to get out of there while I still had a few dollars.
I decided to go for some dinner at this point and do the restaurants review of the casino review. I was hoping for some Cajon food but I had to settle for ribs and I was ok with that I love ribs. These were real good ribs and the price was not bad either.
And after the dinner review I like to do the bathroom review of the casino review. I only saw 2 bathrooms on the Casino Floor but I am sure there were more. The ones I did find were nice and clean. There is also a bathroom near the check in area and as in almost every casino this one was a mess. It seems to me if you need a bathroom during check in go to the casino they are cleaner.
I eventually got back to the casino and spent the rest of the evening winning and losing at blackjack. One I had a few drinks in me I let it slip I was doing a casino review and suddenly my drinks started getting stronger and the dealer was getting friendlier. All in all this casino review was positive good rooms, good food, and good times were had by all.
